SALVATION IN THE GOSPEL

IN JESUS' OWN WORDS
"Blessed are the merciful for
you shall obtain mercy."
(Matt:5:7)

"Not everyone who says, "Lord
Lord" shall enter Heaven but
those who do My Father's
will in Heaven". (Matt:7:21).

"If you do not forgive others for
their sins, your heavenly Father
will not forgive you for your sins."
(Matt:6:15)

"He who loves father or mother
more than Me is not worthy of
Me. And he who loves son or
daughter more than Me is not
worthy of Me."

"And he who does not take up
his cross and follow Me is not
worthy of Me." (Matt:10:37-38)

"Judge not and you will not
be judged. Condemn not and
you will not be condemned.
Forgive and you shall be
forgiven". (Lu:6:37).

"My sheep hear my voice,
and I know them and they
follow Me.

"And I give them eternal life
and they shall never perish,
neither shall anyone snatch
them from My Father's Hand".
(Jn:10:27-28),

"He who loves his life will
lose it; and who hates his
life in this world will keep
it for eternity". (Jn:12:25).

"A new command I give you,
that you love one another as
I have loved you; that you
also love one another."

"So by this all men will know
you are My disciples, if you
have love for one another."
(Jn:13:34-35)

All of these sayings of Jesus instruct us to use our faith to follow him-- a call to actions, not to just "believe" as so many churches today claim. We can accept the words of Jesus or the twisted dogma of man.
