SALVATION A DEEPER VIEW

WE CAN NEVER FULLY UNDERSTAND REVELATION UNLESS WE FIRST UNDERSTAND, SALVATION AND WHAT GOD IS WORKING TO ACCOMPLISH IN OUR LIVES.

Yes we have some differences as to Salvation and this comes as no surprise. The subject of Salvation today is shrouded in darkness, confusion and chaos as the Churches twist The Truth about Salvation like a Philadelphia Pretzel. So now it is time to seek the truth together rather than launch into the "accuse-"attack" mode of the cult leaders.
As we are open to God, He is able to teach us things by (often times) giving us a new persepctive upon things, like viewing a diamond from another angle. Thru your letter and others I am learning how to see and explain salvation more & more clearly... see what you think.
ok... here is one difference we have.. You believe Salvation as "done, done, done" = all in past tense. I believe it is done- doing and shall be done. (this is how Paul explains Salvation, in 3 tenses (past- present-future) and most importantly how JESUS explains salvation.
You seem to believe (well were taught) that Salvation is dead like an object and as long as we hold onto this object we are safe.
I view Salvation as active and alive for Salvation is really our WALK WITH GOD and this walk will either be worthy or unworthy, holy or filthy, "hot" or lukewarm.
Now it is true that The Faith God gives us will produce good works to some degree. This is because when we truly believe in something, we will act upon what we believe (to some extent). But there is no "auto-faith" meaning because we have Faith this does not guarantee that we will "bear fruit until completion" and with perserverance. (REV:3:10).
KEY WORD = TO COMPLETION
KEY WORD = WITH PERSERVERENCE
Often times a Christian hits a ROAD- BLOCK in their faith, in their walk with God. Let's say they refuse to forgive someone or they return to an old sin and indulge in it over and over again. It is dangerous and wrong to tell this Christian, "ITS OK. YOU ARE ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED, GUARANTEED HEAVEN."
This is not true and contradicts virtually all that Jesus taught about Salvation. This allows a person to live a "delusion", to falsely believe they are going to heaven when the reality is we must use our faith to OVERCOME sin if we hope to attain Heaven.
JESUS clearly taught if we sin and sin and refuse to repent we will not see Heaven. If we sin and sin and refuse to repent and the time comes for The Tribulation to start, we will be cast into The Tribulation = Warning to the Seven Churches in Rev: 2 and 3.
"Faith without works is dead" means unless we keep our faith ACTIVE by being led by God and doing what He says = Follow JESUS = Jn:10:27... than our faith will slowly die and dead faith cannot save us, dead faith cannot maintain our Salvation.
When we read Jn:10:27, Matt:7:21 and The Book of James (and Revelation) see see that Salvation includes works and not excludes them... good works (works of love) are part of our Salvation. The "equation for Salvation" is simple:
"Faith working together with our works = Salvation completed"...
If we stop the works, if we use our FREE WILL to rebel against God, then our Salvation is placed upon the thinnest of ice and the real problems start.
This is why "Once Saved Always Saved" is false and dangerous. It tells a Christian who has stopped walking with God and has fallen into sin that its "done, done, done" that they are FOREVER SAVED AND GOING TO HEAVEN.
This is the lie that Satan wants them to believe as they fall father and farther from The Kingdom of God and deeper and deeper into the devil's dark realm.
As Christians we are to encourage one another to continue to follow JESUS and do the works He has given us = so we have a Salvation-Completed, A walk with God that is "Accounted worthy' for The First of Two Raptures.
This is how I view Salvation based upon ALL The Bible says on this subject rather than using one or two verses to prove a point and ignoring the rest of Scripture.
